important aspects covered so far in class.
2)
Click here to learn about the format of the test.
3)
Read the evaluation criteria for the test. It
is the same as the one in the course outline and the course website.
4)
Read
this sample question and all its different answers. Try grading all answers
in light of the evaluation criteria.
5)
Read the section on metacognition and metacognition questions on Criminology. It will help
you control your own progress while you learn. Pay close attention to both
general and criminological metacognitive categories. Write
a brief summary about metacognition and how these
categories can help you in your studies. Include it in your portfolio.
Additionally, please read the SOLO taxonomy. Also, write a
brief summary for your portfolio. I will read them when I get your portfolio
for feedback.
6)
Remember to follow the strategies
for academic reading when doing the assigned readings.
7)
Write the answer to the following
question as if you were writing it for the test. Follow the evaluation criteria
and the metacognitive categories. “Discuss the crime
of rape before the reforms that began in the 1980’s.” Send it to me by email on
Thursday, October 16 by 5.30 pm. If you do so, I will email you back with
feedback on your answer.
