TEST FORMAT

The test will consist of two sections. Section A will include two very general questions for you to answer in ESSAY form. This question will be very broad and probably about topics we have discussed throughout several classes.

Section B will include two to four questions for you to answer only one in essay form.

The following paragraph or a very similar one will appear at the beginning of the test. Make sure that you understand it. If you have any doubts, please ask me in class or come to my hours.

“Answer the questions according to the requirements discussed in class. You need to relate your answers to the activities, issues, readings, and topics discussed in class. Discuss every problem that is fairly raised by the question. The value for each question in section A is 7 points and 6 points for the question in section B. In every answer make a personal appraisal of the issue discussed. For your personal appraisal, you must use strategies similar to those discussed for Level 5 in John Biggs’ taxonomy. You have 60 minutes to complete the test. If you need any clarification during the test, please raise your hand and I will be glad to discuss it with you.”
