Ø Think of what you
want to express.
o
Write an outline of your main ideas. Remember that your
project must relate to one of the topics discussed in class.
Ø At this stage,
you don't need to worry about every single detail; just focus on the big
picture.
Ø Think of how you
want to express it.
o
Decide whether you want to shoot a documentary, produce a
photographic portfolio, or a website with an analysis of crime films, etc.
o
For this decision, think of the best media to produce your
ideas and also about the technology that is available and that you are most
familiar with.
Ø Show me your
outline. I will give you feedback and some ideas.
Ø Prepare a more
detailed script.
Ø Find your
locations.
Ø Action: go shoot
your film or take the pictures.
Ø Edit the film or
the pictures.
Ø Add music or
sound if necessary.
Ø Prepare a
presentation for the class. Because of time constraints, you may need to edit
your project for the presentation. Remember the presentation may last up to 15
minutes.
