1. Choose a name for your team.
2. Select a project manager.
3. Your task is to prepare a fast-paced, highly original and creative 8’ class for the Learning Annex about Broken Windows theory and Zero Tolerance policing.
4. Be creative! All other teams will have the same task. You have to stand out by providing a theoretically solid and engaging class. Visual support for your class is highly desirable, but using PowerPoint slides is not allowed. Reading is not permitted either.
5. You should explain what the theory is about and provide examples.
6. Also find a newspaper article, music clip, film scene, or news report about a crime and try to explain it from the perspective of the Broken Windows theory.
7. Explain Zero Tolerance policing.
8. Write one question about these theories for the test bank.

 

The team that makes the best presentation wins. Factors that I will take into account for deciding the winning team are: creativity, teamwork cooperation, completion of project, and presentation.
