I focus the study of legal issues, crime, justice institutions, and social problems from a multi-disciplinary standpoint, seeking connections among the legal, political, economic, and cultural elements in society. My aim is to broaden knowledge beyond the artificial boundaries of disciplines and to look at problems from international and transnational perspectives.
